Taylor Swift ‘blindsided’ by Joe Alwyn’s comments on their relationship
Taylor Swift was taken aback by her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s recent comments about their six-and-a-half-year relationship and subsequent breakup.
According to Life & Style, the singer was “definitely shocked” when Alwyn spoke to The Sunday Times about their relationship, as he had previously been very private about their romance.A source noted, “He’s super private and never wanted to do anything too public when they were together.”
The insider added, “It’s a different side of Joe that Taylor has never seen, but she respects that he wanted to clear the air.”
Alwyn’s statement caught the Bad Blood crooner completely off guard.
Talking about why Alwyn felt the need to address their breakup, the source said that while the actor “doesn’t want to play these silly games about lyrics — that’s not his style — he did feel like he should set the record straight.”
