When discussing Wales rugby player Louis Rees-Zammit’s move to the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL legend Kelce said when he thought of Welsh people, he thought “posh”. After being quickly told how wrong he was on social media, the 36-year-old admitted to his error, saying he was “incredibly happy” to be wrong. McElhenney then offered to show the former Philadelphia Eagles center around, indicating a Wrexham game could be on the cards.Kelce is one of the most popular NFL stars today due to both his epic career and his podcast, ‘New Heights’, alongside younger brother Travis (of Taylor Swift fame). McElhenney, on the other hand, is now transitioning from media to sport, having bought Wrexham in 2021 with fellow actor Ryan Reynolds and since leading them to League One with back-to-back promotions.
