Tennis fans recently criticized Aryna Sabalenka’s sponsor, Nike, for providing her with basic outfits for her 2024 US Open campaign.
The Belarusian secured her second Grand Slam of the season by defeating sixth seed Jessica Pegula 7-5, 7-5 in the final.
During the tournament at Flushing Meadows, seeded second, Aryna Sabalenka defeated Priscilla Hon, Lucia Bronzetti, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Elise Mertens, Zheng Qinwen, and Emma Navarro before triumphing over Jessica Pegula in the final to win her third title of the 2024 season.
Following her US Open title win, tennis fans took to social media to express their disappointment in Nike for providing Sabalenka with lackluster outfits for such a significant event.One fan stated that Nike should treat Aryna Sabalenka “better.”
