She is now on a mission to finish the year by becoming the World number one once again and win the WTA Finals for the first time.
She dropped just one set on the way to the championship and defended the Australian Open title in January without dropping a set.
This World number two now has three Grand Slam titles to her name and she will be determined to add to her haul in 2025.
But after ending the Grand Slam season with a victory, she is not resting on her laurels and told fans she is already back in training.
She took to social media platform X on Monday and wrote: “Forgot to tell you all! I’m back practicing a long time ago lol,” she chuckled.
