Djokovic will now face Carlos Alcaraz, who beat Daniil Medvedev in the other semi-final. Djokovic began the match on a strong note, winning the first set 6-4. Musetti staged a fightback in the second set, taking it to the tie-breaker but Djokovic reigned supreme. Then the Serbian bagged the third set to clinch a 6-4 7-6 6-4 win in straight sets. In the other semi-final, Alcaraz sealed a thrilling 6(1)-7(7), 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 win vs Daniil Medvedev. Alcaraz lost the first set, but staged a stunning comeback to seal with the next three sets with ease.
