When Justin Bieber announced his new Skylrk brand last month, it did not take long for fans to notice a connection between the design of one of the brand’s phone cases and the phone cases from his wife Hailey’s brand, Rhode Beauty.
As it turns out, that will be a legal issue for Justin if he moves forward with his version of the phone case. Hailey’s iconic Rhode Beauty phone cases include a cutout on the back of the case that is specifically designed to hold Rhode lip products.
Justin clearly took inspiration from this for his Skylrk phone cases. As it turns out, Justin is well aware of the resemblance and the legal issues it poses for him and Skylrk.
In a post on Instagram this week, Bieber broke his silence on the matter as he revealed that Hailey actually has the tech patented, and he will have to pay her a fee – if she even allows him to use the design at all.
