Tom Brady Says He’s Currently ‘Very Happy’ with Work and His Time at Home: ‘Life’s Pretty Full’…see more

As the former quarterback, 47, settles into his new gig as an NFL broadcaster at Fox Sports, Brady exclusively tells PEOPLE he’s “very happy” with the new chapter of his life.

“For me, it was good to take some time off,” he says of his time between retiring from the NFL — for a second time in February 2023 — and making his debut in the broadcast booth earlier this month.

“I had been on this treadmill going at a fast speed for a long time, and I loved it. I loved every minute of playing, and at the same time, when I retired, I really enjoyed that too.”

“Now, I’m back to work and I’m enjoying that, so I have no complaints,” Brady continues. “Just like everybody else, I try to wake up and try to do my best for the people that matter the most to me.

And when you commit to the people like I have in my broadcasting at Fox, I want to do a great job for them and my teammates there. So my life’s pretty full. I’m very happy.”
