Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Called ‘Entitled’ For Allegedly Shutting Down A Gym For Fitness Date
Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, allegedly shut down Dogpound gym for a private workout session, which kept gym members waiting outside. However, the gym has refuted claims of their members being shut out for two hours.
Swift had prepared for her “Eras Tour” with rigorous workouts at Dogpound. The couple, now enjoying downtime, plans to “play house” in Swift’s mansion after a romantic Bahamas getaway.
Did Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Shut Down A Local Gym?
According to reports earlier today, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shut down a popular gym, Dogpound, in West Hollywood, California, and other gym members were allegedly left waiting outside for two hours until the celebrities completed their workout session.
Photos obtained by a news outlet showed some members outside the gym holding water bottles while seemingly waiting to be let in.
However, a representative for Dogpound who spoke to Page Six refuted the claim, stating: “At DOGPOUND, we value our members’ experience and have never had anyone wait outside for 2 hours.”
“The Daily Mail article does not accurately reflect the circumstances that day. We respect the privacy of our clients and have no other comments to share,” the spokesperson added.
Netizens Brand The Couple ‘Entitled’ For Allegedly Shutting Down The Gym
Following reports that Swift and Kelce had taken over a gym for a private workout, people took to social media to brand the couple “entitled” and “elitist.”
One person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Really? [Is it] necessary to go to a gym and shut the whole thing down? There are other people in the world [?]”
Another X user said, “Entitled. Big time,” while a third commented, “Lol, nothing like the elite.”
One more person noted, “If I were a member of that gym, I would be so ticked off!”
Before kicking off “The Eras Tour” last March, Swift shared her rigorous fitness routine, including singing on the treadmill, weightlifting, and strength training at DogPound.
In a December interview with Time Magazine, the 34-year-old pop sensation emphasized the importance of physical preparation for the demanding tour, stating, “I knew this tour was harder than anything I’d ever done before by a long shot. I finally, for the very first time, physically prepared correctly.”
She added: “Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set list out loud. Fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs.”
