Benny Blanco stepped out of their comfort zones together to try a new summer snack — and Blanco documented the entire thing in a TikTok.
In the video, which the music producer and cookbook author, 36, shared on Friday, July 19, he prepared an unusual dish he found on social media: a “watermelon pickle sandwich.”Blanco said in the clip that he recently discovered the dish during a “death scroll” of food videos, and was baffled by it — or more specifically, its lack of bread.Intrigued, Blanco tried it for himself. The video shows him cutting up a watermelon and slicing off two bread-like wedges. Then, he assembled the rest of the ingredients: cheese, a pickle slice, balsamic vinegar and basil.
