Travis Kelce’s success on the field might just have a secret ingredient-his mom’s kitchen.

The Kansas city chiefs tight end has made it clear that his mother, Donna Kelce, plays a special role in his Super Bowl preparations. When asked if Donna would be making her famous cookies for this year’s big game, Travis didn’t hesitate: “Oh, you know it, you know it,” he told several outlets during a media day.

“Never played a Super Bowl without them.” A photo of the moment, captured at the Super Bowl Opening Night, went viral, showcasing Donna’s love and support for her boys. This year, with Jason retired, Donna will only need one container as she cheers on Travis and the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

The cookies themselves have gained a bit of a cult following. Donna shared the recipe, revealing that they’re packed with milk and white chocolate chips, brown and white sugar, sweet cream butter, cinnamon, and optional pecans.

“They’re an absolute favorite for me and everyone in the family,” she said. It’s no wonder Travis insists on having them before every Super Bowl-they’re clearly a source of comfort and motivation.
