The designer behind the engagement ring seen around the world has spoken.

“My name is Kindred Lubeck. I’m 30 years old, I started making jewelry in the summer of 2019. I was 25.” Lubeck began.

“I believe that if someone says you can’t do something, you should prove them 110 percent wrong. I think if one door closes, you should kick the next one down. I think that if you have a dream, you should never, ever quit,” she encouraged.

She then concluded her message with a sweet nod to Swift and her fans. “For those of you have been with me since day one, thank you so much form the bottom of my heart. And to those of you who are new, I’m enchanted to meet you.”

She joined the family company in October 2019 and practiced the craft behind the scenes when they were forced to shut down their showroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. She worked with sterling silver and eventually gold, all the while taking engraving classes to perfect the art.

“It’s my engraved pieces that put me on the digital map. I started making reels showcasing my work and people started noticing. Eventually, I started getting requests for me to make engagement rings,” she said.
