Kate Middleton celebrates as Barbora Krejcikova wins first Wimbledon title
Princess Kate has released a stunning video of tennis legends to celebrate the ladies champions as Barbora Krejčíková defeated Jasmine Paolini to win first Wimbledon title on Saturday.
Kate Middleton has shared a post on her and Prince William’s official Instagram, paying tribute to the Champions of Wimbledon.The message, shared by The Prince and Princess of Wales social media accounts, reads: “Celebrating the Ladies Champions of @Wimbledon over the years today.
“The Championships are like no other and these legends of the game show exactly what it means to be a champion here.”Czech Republic’s Barbora Krejcikova celebrated her victory by blowing a kiss as she defeated Italy’s Jasmine Paolini during their women’s singles final tennis match on the thirteenth day of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon on July 13, 2024.
Both players were competing for their first Wimbledon title, but in the end it was Krejčíková who took the victory, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.
The mother-of-three did not attend the game as she continued her cancer treatment, however her doctors have given him green light to attend the Sunday’s game.
