Just in: Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Kevin Durant Among Stars to Attend Miami F1 Grand Prix
Lando Norris was the biggest star during Sunday’s Miami Grand Prix, but he was far from the only one at the Miami International Autodrome.
Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, Joe Burrow and Myles Garrett were among those who watched the McLaren driver become a Formula One race winner for the first time in his career:The NFL and NBA stars were treated to a shocking result, which is how any race won by someone outside of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen can be described in today’s Formula One.
While Verstappen won four of the season’s first five races and started Sunday’s contest in pole position, Norris moved ahead of him thanks in part to a mid-race safety car and never looked back. The Red Bull driver finished in second place, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc rounded out the podium.
