“Part of the reason they split was because of their busy schedules,” an insider told PEOPLE. “They both travel all the time and it was hard.”
Not only did she make her hosting debut on the hit comedy show, but she tried her hand at acting in a few sketches too, including one opposite Davidson, who joined the cast in 2014.
The two played Aladdin and Jasmine in a scene that ended with a kiss. Kardashian was praised for her hosting skills, but just as her buzzy weekend had started to die down, the mom of four was back in the news once a photo of her and Davidson holding hands surfaced later that month.
Not only was the scene hilarious, but it was romantic as well due to the pair’s passionate kiss shared on-screen. Though scripted, this kiss marked the couple’s first of many PDA-filled moments.
