New court documents obtained by Page Six show the “Sunflower” singer (born Austin Richard Post) filed his own custody documents in Utah Monday — two days before his ex-fiancée Hee Sung “Jamie” Park filed her petition in Los Angeles Wednesday.
The 29-year-old singer also chose to file in Utah because it’s where he and Park were originally splitting 50/50 custody of their daughter, sources told TMZ. Park is also said to have moved to California at the start of 2025 after she and Post officially called it quits at the end of 2024.
The insiders also alleged that her move was in an effort to establish residency in California, setting the ground for her to file for custody in Los Angeles for financial reasons.
Reps for Post Malone did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
