Patrick Mahomes couldn’t take his eyes off his phone, not even for a second. While on set filming a commercial, the star quarterback was glued to his device, checking it between takes and even during quick pauses.

Anytime the director called “cut,” Mahomes immediately looked down, smiled at what he saw, and then returned to the shoot. He was so focused on his phone that even while speaking to people or taking instructions, he held onto it tightly.

He would only put it down momentarily barely long enough to finish what he needed to do. At one point, the phone almost seemed like a problem for the production. But the real question was:
