In a list that includes himself, Gronk named another player that he thinks is better than him. Travis Kelce has been the best tight end in the NFL for years, and is vaulting up the list of best tight ends of all time.
Gronk retired with four Super Bowls and the third most touchdowns for a tight end of all time.
Kelce already has three Super Bowls and is reaching the top of the list for yards and touchdowns.
Gronk was asked who was better, him or Kelce, and eventually picked the Chiefs tight end. “Aw man. For longevity, yes,” Gronk said.
“Yes, he’s still going. I’m not, I’m on the bench.”
Gronk and Kelce are the same age, both being born in 1989, but Gronk entered the league three years before Kelce.
The Patriots tight end played 11 years in the NFL, while Kelce is in year 12 with more time left on his contract.
