Randi Mahomes referenced this verse in January while announcing that her father was in hospice. His health had been deteriorating since September 2024 after he was hospitalized for an undisclosed reason.
“Prayer warriors please pray for my daddy,” Randi pleaded with her followers. But the 78-year-old Larry ‘Randy’ Martin passed away on February 12, just days after Patrick Mahomes lost super bowl.
“Hard to find the words of holding my fathers hand as he goes to Heaven. I know he’s in a better place. I love you daddy. Well done, good and faithful servant! Matthew 25:23,” Randi wrote with a heavy heart.
Martin had dedicated his life to teaching, counseling, and school administration. He spent his career working in schools in Troup, Maydelle, Palestine, LaPoynor, and Whitehouse.
