The Kansas City Chiefs have gotten the better of the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs during the Patrick Mahomes vs. Josh Allen era.

But in the regular season, the Bills had a four-game winning streak. That has since been extended to five games after Sunday. Even though Buffalo gave Kansas City a decent shot at tying the game up after a missed field goal, the Chiefs simply didn’t have enough time on the clock to find a better way to get into the end zone.

Make no mistake about it, the game was winnable. After the game, Mahomes was asked about one series in particular that proved to be costly. The Chiefs had a first and goal situation on Buffalo’s one-yard line. Four chances for the Chiefs to get in the end zone for a touchdown from one yard out.

Despite three attempts, Mahomes and company failed to move the ball any closer to close the half. Mahomes said that the team needs to “find a way to get into the end zone” and that he needs to do a better job.
