Carlos Alcaraz fired a hilarious warning at his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero after winning his maiden match at the 2024 Laver Cup against Ben Shelton.
The Spaniard, who is enjoying his time under tennis legend Bjorn Borg, jokingly hinted at a coaching change.
Alcaraz kicked off his Laver Cup campaign alongside Alexander Zverev with a loss in doubles against the American duo of Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton on the opening day.
However, he got his revenge in singles when he defeated Shelton 6-4, 6-4 to level the Laver Cup 4-4. Carlos Alcaraz avenged his loss to Ben Shelton in doubles with a comfortable straight-set win.
With his win, he tied the Laver Cup score at 4-4. The opening day ended tied at 2-2. Day 2 kicked off with Frances Tiafoe staging an impressive comeback to defeat Daniil Medvedev and give Team World the lead which was nullified by Alcaraz in the next match.
