Breaking News: Angel Reese announces she’s leaving Chicago for Miami making it her new home in a decision that raises big future questions…see more
Angel Reese’s first WNBA season was cut short due to injury, but her performance up to that point was nothing short of historic.
She led the league in rebounding with an incredible 13.1 boards per game, the highest average in WNBA history, and shattered other multiple records for rookies and veterans. Angel Reese knows that even after a great season, she didn’t live up to the team’s expectations, largely due to her injury.
Missing the playoffs – something Caitlin Clark accomplished – left her with unfinished business. However, one of her recent posts has fans speculating. Reese uploaded a photo from Miami with the caption, “New Home.”
Why is Reese in Miami if there’s no WNBA team or plans for one? It appears she’s gearing up for the new Unrivaled league, an innovative 3v3 women’s basketball competition featuring six teams and six players per team.
