Easton Stick got sacked by KCC’s Charles Omenihu and with just 4:56 remaining in the first quarter, Mike Edwards scooped the ball and returned a fumble 97 yards. That went on to become the longest scoop and score of the season (and the third-longest in Chiefs history).

“That was a long drive, I’m not going to lie. Charles made a heck of a play,” Edwards said after his side won 13-12. “It was a big play for us and started us off early.”
