Patrick Mahomes finally fulfilled his biggest fan’s dream. Kayren Spain, an 81-year-old American woman who started an online campaign more than a year ago to meet him before she died, achieved her big goal on Friday.
Kayren’s patience was finally rewarded after posting a multitude of videos in which she praised her idol and asked for help to meet him someday.
“Yesterday was the best day of my life. I met the fabulous woman who brought PATRICK MAHOMES into this world!” she announced.
However, she still wanted to say hello to Patrick. And that day finally arrived. Kayren went to Chiefs’ training camp on Friday, and when their work was done she had her moment.
She wore his special jersey and even a sign that Mahomes had a laugh at.
“I’m 81 and I just met Patrick MAHOMES before I croaked!!!”, she shouted on social media to express her joy.
A happy ending to a beautiful story in which Randi Mahomes was an accomplice. The Chiefs star’s mother saw Kayren’s video on networks and did not hesitate to show her love.
