ASAP Rocky is paying homage to Rihanna through a custom jewelry piece.
The “Fashion Killa” rapper, 36, took Vogue behind the scenes of his Harlem-inspired look for the 2025 Met Gala, which lit up the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 5.
The video sees the rapper showing off an ornate piece of jewelry in the end credits scene — a solid gold statue ring meant to emulate the silhouette of the Fenty Beauty founder, 37.
The statue ring was a replica of the “Diamonds” singer wearing a strapless, cleavage-baring minidress that was encrusted with sparkling diamonds.
The head of the statue was decorated in gold chain links meant to emulate long braids — the chains swung around with each subtle movement of Rocky’s hand, replicating the way hair moves with each turn of the head.
After removing the ring — designed by Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills — from his jewelry box, Rocky couldn’t help but gush over how much the piece resembles his girlfriend’s image and likeness.
