There are “witnesses” to Justin Baldoni’s misconduct against Blake Lively on the set of It Ends With Us, according to the actress’s lawyer.
Gottlieb also revealed that Lively is preparing to testify against Baldoni in the case. “The ultimate moment for a plaintiff’s story to be told is at trial,” Gottlieb said. “We expect that to be the case here [with Lively].
So we would, of course, expect her to be a witness at her trial. Of course, she’s going to testify.” As for whether Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, plans to testify, Gottlieb declined to say for certain.
He is currently named as a defendant in Baldoni’s countersuit, but Lively’s legal team is moving to dismiss those claims. Gottlieb said that Reynolds “may or may not be a fact witness” even if those claims are dropped.
Gottlieb said that Baldoni’s claims against Reynolds are “frivolous” and urged the public to focus on what Lively’s original lawsuit is about.
