Lead Singer of Lawrence Band Issues Bold Ask of Taylor Swift During Germany Eras Tour Stop
“Hey, Taylor Swift,” Lawrence, 27, said to the camera, noting she is a member of the band with her brother, Clyde, and “six other guys.”
“We’re on tour right now in Europe at the same time you are. We’re living in this bus, and we actually routed our off-days on tour to be able to go see the Eras Tour in Gelsenkirchen,” she explained. “And we are all so genuinely thrilled and excited and grateful that we were able to make that happen.”That’s when Lawrence made her unusual request for Swift.
“And also just wanted to ask if you had any laundry machines backstage because I’ve been out of clean underwear and socks,” she said with a completely straight face. “And I just know that you’re known for supporting female artists, and I just don’t have any clean underwear.”
