the evening prior at dinner, Randi says that usually when Kelce sees her, he comes up to hug her and says “Mama Mahomes, Mama Mahomes.”

Randi says that Kelce calls her that “every time” she runs into the Chiefs star. “And he is such a ball of energy.”

Randi adds that when she saw Kelce in Los Angeles, “I was like, ‘no wonder Patrick recommended this restaurant.’ “She also tells PEOPLE about the close-knit bond the Kansas City Chiefs have on and off the field. “It feels almost like a little family, you know. I love that,” Randi says. “I love meeting Chiefs players because you don’t always get to meet them all,” she adds, even as mom to the star QB.
