Meghan Markle feels ‘under siege’ as ‘life is not going in the direction she planned’: author

Meghan Markle reportedly feels “under siege” amid public ambivalence about her various new ventures — and her relationship with Prince Harry is under strain as a result.

“There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned,” royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror.“She loves media attention and hates the fact that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.”Since stepping down as a senior member of the British royal family four years ago, Meghan has tried her hand at a number of projects with varying degrees of success.
