The Los Angeles Lakers added another headline to an already chaotic week by assigning guard Bronny James and forward Adou Thiero to the South Bay Lakers, the team’s G League affiliate.
James has appeared in ten games this season, offering brief bursts of energy in limited minutes while working to find a consistent role in JJ Redick’s rotation. He is averaging 2.1 points, 1.8 assists, and 0.9 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game while shooting 29.7 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from beyond the arc.
His most notable moment came last weekend against the Milwaukee Bucks when he earned his first start of the season, logging ten minutes with one rebound, one assist, and one steal.
His most recent action came in the Lakers’ win over the Utah Jazz, where he entered late in the game and posted three points and two assists.
