When speaking to the media after the game, the elder James was asked about his son’s growth.
While he did provide a thoughtful answer, James admitted it was something they should have asked his son as they no longer live together.
“You can obviously ask him, you know, more than me,” James said. “He’s not a resident anymore so we don’t talk as much. He has his own place. But he’s great.” The younger James has played in nine games this season and is averaging 2.1 points, 1.8 assists and 0.9 rebounds, while shooting 29.6% from the field.
The James duo and the Lakers will hit the road for their next game as they play the Jazz in Utah on Sunday, looking to improve to 8-2 on the road this season.
