“The guys enjoy those (joyful plays). If they’re sound, that’s where I’ve got the 51% on the thing.

We practice them, and we feel like by the time we use them they’re a part of the offense.” said Reid, “We normally can pull them off, we had the one fail on us down there, but normally these things work and that one, had we not botched it up a little bit there with the snap count, it probably would’ve scored.

We just got to tighten that part up. We practice these things and spend time in them.” The team has created mottos and signature celebrations expressing their unity and fun during the games. Reid shared his feelings on the players’ energy on the sideline. “You can feel that. You see it in the preseason all the time. But you can feel it as a coach on the sideline, you feel when your guys are into or not into it,” said Reid.

“It’s important if they’re a little bit down that the coaches help out with that. But you don’t have to do – these guys have good energy. So, when I talk about good rooms or good energy on a team, those things are said because I feel those things from what you saw, which is a good observation. The guys are – they really support those young guys, which is a unique thing, too.”
