One day, Patrick Mahomes will retire from the NFL. He would have given the Chiefs fans several happy memories by then.
But his contribution isn’t limited to just football. By the time he hangs his No. 15 jersey, he will have had a strong impact in the Kansas City community with his ’15 and the Mahomies Foundation’.
The foundation has already given grants to several non-profit organizations in the city. But in its newest move, it raised more than $1.5 million on Monday during its sixth annual gala. It was held at the Kansas City Convention Center.
The official Instagram page shared a clip of all the representatives posing with the couple. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and his wife Tammy were in attendance at the gala. Mahomes’ parents and siblings were present too.
The QB also made sure to throw some passes to his guests—something he had done at the 2024 charity gala as well.
