It was end-to-end stuff till the last minute and 49ers were ahead before the Kansas City Chiefs managed to score at the fag end. This was Andy Reid’s 3rd Super Bowl and he became only the fifth NFL coach to achieve that landmark achievement.
As the crowd of fans headed to Allegiant Stadium for the big game, they passed by a small group of American Indians who were holding signs and chanting against the Kansas City Chiefs’ name and logo.
They said these were “racist stereotypes” that mocked their culture and history. They also criticized the fans’ “Tomahawk chop” gesture as offensive and disrespectful.
