News: Prince Harry Has Special Meetup During Vancouver Trip Ahead of Invictus Games…see more
Prince Harry, made a special trip to the Musqueam Indian Reserve during a recent trip to Vancouver.
The Duke of Sussex traveled to Canada in support of the forthcoming 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. During his visit, Chief Wayne Sparrow welcomed Harry, 40, to the Musqueam Nation’s Little House and met with three other Chiefs of the Four Host First Nations as well.
While in the Little House — which is a sacred space where family and community gather — Harry was introduced to young people from all four of the Four Host First Nations (Lil’wat Nation, Musqueam Indian Band, Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation).
They shared cultures, values and vision for the future and gifts were exchanged from each of the four Nations. In exchange, Harry gifted all the young people tickets to the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler opening ceremony, which is set to take place next year.
