CBS News has now subjected the song to various AI audio detection technologies and consulted specialists who believe the song, or parts thereof, are probably AI-generated.

Ai-SPY co-founder Stephen Stahl told the network he suspects someone composed the lyrics and tune, then used an AI platform to synthesise Bieber’s voice.

“AI is [going to] be able to help anybody create a song easily, quicker, more efficiently,” Stahl remarked.

“The downside is that everybody will be able to create a song. So talent is no longer a prerequisite to construct a great song.”

A video from 2009 captures the duo discussing plans for an upcoming weekend. In the footage, Diddy declares: “He’s having forty-eight hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”

Diddy further explained his temporary mentorship role: “I have been given custody of him. He’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album.

I don’t have legal guardianship of him [Bieber] but for the next forty-eight hours he’s with me and we’re gonna go full crazy.”
