He was named Rookie of the Year after averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and a league-leading 3.6 blocks per game. In the meantime, the 19-year-old James is enjoying his free time.
He attended a hobby event in Los Angeles Lakers on Sept. 15, where he opened a pack of NBA trading cards. The Lakers newcomer pulled a Wembanyama rookie card, as shown in the video posted by Los Angeles Times’ Dan Woike on X.
Fans watching Bronny cheered after his lucky pull. A Wembanyama rookie card is highly sought by collectors, especially if it’s a rare insert. However, it’s unclear what type of card James received.
