“We were literally falling asleep and waking up on the phone together,” the bride remembers.

Tiffany lived in New Jersey at the time while Dakari lived in Maryland, so they planned their first date in Washington D.C. As soon as they met in person, they knew they were on their last first date.

Dakari proposed on Christmas morning that year at Tiffany’s home after a family-filled weekend.

Their wedding was the first to take place there, so they put their trust in the venue as they assembled their own event staff. It was important to Tiffany,
