Cheryl’s young son Bear could be blocked from inheriting his father’s multi-million pound fortune until he is at least 25-years-old, sources suggest.
Payne died last October after plummeting from a third floor balcony of a hotel in Argentina aged 31.
Cheryl, 41, welcomed Bear, now eight, with Liam in 2017 and has reportedly sought advice from trustees of the former one direction star’s estate and wants to put the money aside for when he is older.
She wants him to still have ambition and the drive to succeed without the back-up of the money — and she’s aware that people may want to befriend him because they are aware of his situation.
“Cheryl has spoken to the trustees and the money will be invested until Bear is of the right age to start receiving some of it.”
